What is AccountingPipe?
AccountingPipe is an automated receipt and expense processing service. Forward receipts to your unique email address, or photograph one on your phone and email it in, and our AI extracts vendor, amount, date, and line item details automatically. Once you approve the data, it syncs directly to your accounting software.
How does AccountingPipe work?
It's a simple 4-step process: 1) Email a receipt in, from your desk or your phone, 2) Our AI automatically extracts all relevant data from the receipt, 3) Review and approve the extracted information, 4) Data syncs instantly to your connected accounting software like Xero or Google Sheets.
Is there a mobile app?
Native iOS and Android apps are in development. You do not need one to capture receipts on the go: photograph the receipt with your phone and email it to your AccountingPipe address, and it enters the same pipeline. The web app works on a phone browser for reviewing and approving.
What accounting software does it integrate with?
AccountingPipe currently integrates with Xero and Google Sheets for seamless expense management. QuickBooks Online integration is coming soon. We're continuously adding new integrations based on customer demand.
How long does it take to process a receipt?
Most receipts are processed in under 60 seconds. Our AI extracts vendor information, amounts, dates, and line items, and every field is presented next to the original document for you to check, so nothing reaches your books unreviewed.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (TLS/HTTPS in transit, AES-256 at rest), strict multi-tenant data isolation, and own and operate all of our infrastructure. We don't train AI models on your data, and our AI providers (OpenRouter and Anthropic) don't retain your information.
